The terms that govern your use of the PressTag website and the PressTag CMS platform.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of getpresstag.com and the PressTag content management platform (together, the "Service"), provided by PressTag ("we", "us", "our"). By using our website, booking a demo, or signing up for a PressTag plan, you agree to these Terms.
PressTag is a multi-tenant, headless content management system built for digital publishers. It provides an editorial admin, a content API, and related tools for managing articles, live blogs, web stories, photo galleries, and other content types, along with migration support for publishers moving from another platform.
When you sign up for PressTag, you're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining the security of your admin credentials. You're responsible for activity that occurs under your account, including accounts created for your editorial team.
Where PressTag performs a migration from WordPress or another platform on your behalf, we'll agree on the scope of the migration (article count, content types, redirects, and timeline) in advance. We aim for zero-downtime migrations, but timelines and outcomes can depend on the condition and completeness of the source data you provide.
You retain ownership of the articles, images, and other content you publish through PressTag ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and serve Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service on your behalf. You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to publish Your Content and that it complies with applicable law.
You agree not to use PressTag to publish unlawful content, infringe on others' intellectual property, distribute malware, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure or another Publisher's tenant. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate this section.
We work to keep PressTag fast and reliably available, and Enterprise plans may include a specific service-level agreement. Outside of an agreed SLA, we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, though we'll make reasonable efforts to notify Publishers of planned maintenance in advance.
You may cancel your subscription at any time in accordance with your plan's terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical. On cancellation or termination, we'll provide a reasonable window for you to export Your Content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PressTag is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal, unless otherwise agreed in a separate enterprise contract.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active Publishers of material changes.
